Following the release of the standard Chrome Bundesliga cards, the Sapphire Edition returns for the 2024–25 season with a premium, more limited run. This edition brings back the vibrant Sapphire parallels, though unlike in previous years, autograph cards are no longer officially guaranteed in every box.

Each hobby box is expected to contain eight packs of four cards, including approximately four Sapphire parallels, one base image variation, and occasionally an autograph card, although this is not confirmed. The checklist spans all Bundesliga teams, offering collectors a broad range of players from clubs such as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen, as well as newly promoted sides.

The release also includes inserts and autograph subsets alongside the base set. Collectors can expect familiar Sapphire colour treatments and team-based groupings throughout the checklist.
