2024–25 Panini Select Serie A returns with the same three-tiered structure (Terrace, Mezzanine, Field Level) as other Select releases, but remains the lowest printed of the Select football lines. Each Hobby box contains five numbered cards, three autographs or memorabilia cards, and a chance at one of four case-hit inserts: Stained Glass, Visionary, Artistic Impressions, and Team Badges. Notably, Honeycomb parallels remain short-printed and appear roughly once per case. While the set lacks top-tier rookies this year, it compensates with a legend-heavy checklist, featuring 17 of the 30 Stained Glass slots filled by retired icons such as Maradona, Ronaldo, and Zidane. Even current players are occasionally featured in throwback contexts, such as Federico Chiesa’s first Fiorentina auto.
Due to the smaller print run — around 775 cases, roughly a quarter of Select Premier League — collectors may find better value in Serie A boxes, particularly when chasing low-numbered cards and case-hit autographs. However, outside of legends and rare inserts, most memorabilia content tends to generate limited excitement. Insert designs like Artistic Impressions and Visionary maintain small print runs (~30), though they have historically underperformed in collector interest. With its tight print run and focus on iconic players, this release stands out among Select’s annual football offerings for those prioritising scarcity and historic significance.
