2016 Panini Flawless Soccer redefined the high end of football card collecting, introducing the brand’s ultra-premium style to the sport for the first time. Each 10-card box contains six autographs, two match-used memorabilia cards, and two gem-embedded base cards, with every card numbered to 25 or fewer. All autographs are on-card, setting a new benchmark for quality and exclusivity in Panini’s soccer lineup.

The base set includes both club and international players, spanning global powerhouses like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, along with current stars and all-time legends. Each base card features a real diamond, with parallels using Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald gemstones — plus a special parallel showcasing a larger diamond.

Autograph sets include Legendary Signatures (celebrating football icons), Flawless Finishes (focusing on memorable goals), and International Icons (honouring players on the world stage). Additional autographed memorabilia cards include Momentous Autographs Memorabilia and Dual Patch Autographs, both featuring game-worn materials, and Sole of the Game Signatures, which incorporate pieces of match-used boots.

The checklist features an elite roster of signers including Pelé, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Roberto Baggio, Steven Gerrard, Alan Shearer, Luis Suárez, Franz Beckenbauer, and Gianluigi Buffon, among many others. Memorabilia content extends beyond shirts, with inserts like Studs (/10 or fewer), featuring actual cleat studs, and Tools of the Trade, which includes gear such as jerseys, gloves, and shorts — all verified as match-worn.
